About God's Own Country
God's Own
Country (GOC) is a syndicated 60-minute
award-winning radio program
featuring
contemporary positive country music.
By mid 2007 GOC was heard weekly on radio
stations all over Australia and around the world (
over 375 stations in 8 countries) as well as streaming on the internet.
For health reasons, the program was put on hold at that time, but now is
back, bigger, stronger than ever...and making up for lost time!!
GOC features the best positive
country music by
artists from all around the world
and is receiving a very positive response from a growing audience of
listeners.
The story of GOC is told in this
article from the PowerSource
magazine.
Deb Bye (Life FM, Gippsland, Vic, Australia) explores some of
the background to GOC in this
interview with
Don.
GOC
host Don Taylor
Don, I am SOOOOOOOOO Thrilled to hear that GOC is spreading
throughout the US. You have a GREAT program that any station should be
proud to air. My members LOVE to listen to GOC. Your accent catches their attention
and your music catches their heart! Wanted you to know that we're behind you here and that we're PROUD to
air GOC!

GOC Featured Album
This is a very special album.
"The Work Of A Carpenter" by Greg McDougal has been produced
for a purpose; to help Greg and his wife Diane build an allergen-free home
for their family of four children, three of whom have been diagnosed with
Cystic Fibrosis
(
A House For My Kids )
When Greg showcased in Nashville at the Inspirational Country Music
Awards 2006, the exhibition hall fell quiet. People were
quickly drawn to the stage area to witness the power of the artist
and his songs, songs written from the heart.
